About

About Artificial Frontiers.

We help established businesses modernize their operations using AI. Not with disruption, not with a tech team requirement, and not with any upfront cost.

We work with founder-led companies that have built something real over decades — manufacturers, law firms, distributors, financial advisory practices — and help them unlock the efficiency that has been sitting inside their operations the whole time. Not by replacing how they work. By removing the manual overhead that has accumulated around how they work.

The businesses we work with are not early adopters. They are not chasing trends. They are operators who have stayed profitable and competitive by being disciplined about where they spend money and time. What they share is a recognition that the administrative burden attached to their core operations has grown faster than their ability to hire around it — and that there is a better answer than adding more headcount.

How We Work

Our model is different from every other AI consultant you've encountered.

We start with a free 45-minute audit to identify your single highest ROI automation opportunity. Not a general conversation about AI — a structured analysis of your specific workflows, the time they consume, the systems they touch, and the dollar value of removing the manual work from each one.

Within a week of the audit, we deliver a working proof of concept built on your actual business data. Not a slide deck, not a demo environment with sample records — the real system processing your real inputs and producing your real outputs. You see exactly what you are buying before you decide whether to buy it.

The production build is priced as a fixed fee, paid after delivery. No hourly billing, no scope ambiguity, no ongoing per-seat subscriptions. The engagement ends when you have a working system integrated into your operations — and if you want ongoing support or additional automations, that conversation happens after you've already seen what we deliver.

No risk. No commitment. No surprises.

Who We Are

Founded by Andrea Fabbricatore.

Artificial Frontiers was founded by Andrea Fabbricatore — exited AI founder, published researcher, and advisor to firms managing over $1B across manufacturing, legal, finance, and distribution.

Andrea's background spans applied machine learning research and operational business leadership. His published work covers probabilistic reasoning and decision systems — the same underlying technology that powers the document parsing, workflow automation, and intelligent routing systems we build for clients. The research background informs the architecture decisions; the business background keeps them grounded in what actually works in production.

Before founding Artificial Frontiers, Andrea built and exited an AI company and spent years advising asset managers, family offices, and operating companies on technology decisions. That advisory work — sitting across the table from principals who needed to understand what AI could do for their business before spending anything on it — is the direct origin of the engagement model we use today. The free audit and working proof of concept are not marketing tactics. They are what a senior advisor would actually do before recommending a course of action.

Why We Built This

The businesses that need AI most are the ones being sold it least honestly.

Most AI consulting is sold to enterprises — companies with IT departments, vendor evaluation processes, and technology budgets large enough to absorb mistakes. The small and mid-size businesses that run most of the economy — the 60-person manufacturer, the 35-attorney firm, the regional distributor with $80M in revenue — are either ignored entirely or sold generic software that doesn't fit their operations.

Artificial Frontiers was built specifically for these businesses. The engagement model exists because founder-led companies can't afford to spend six months evaluating software before knowing if it works. The proof-of-concept model exists because a business owner making a $40,000 decision should be able to see exactly what they are buying. The fixed-fee structure exists because hourly billing rewards inefficiency, and the businesses we work with have been burned by that dynamic before.

We believe that operational AI — not chatbots, not dashboards, not AI-assisted email — is the most significant productivity opportunity available to established businesses today. The companies that automate their core workflows in the next few years will operate at a structural cost advantage over those that don't. We built this firm to give founder-led businesses access to that advantage on terms that actually make sense for them.

Who We Work With

Established businesses. Real operations.

We work with established businesses — typically 20 to 200 employees, operating for ten or more years, with no internal technology team. The common thread across every client we've worked with is not industry or size — it is that they have a high-volume, rule-driven process consuming meaningful labor time, and they are ready to address it.

We work across manufacturing, legal, distribution, finance, professional services, property management, construction, and logistics. The industries differ; the underlying pattern — more complexity than the team can efficiently manage by hand — is always the same.

We do not work with businesses that are not yet profitable, companies that want to replace their entire tech stack, or clients who need a vendor relationship with quarterly business reviews and account management overhead. If you want a working system built around your actual operations, on terms that protect you from cost overruns, that is what we do.

If that sounds like you, the first conversation is free.
